Bryan El Castillo

Bryan el Castillo is a contemporary artist who works in a variety of media. His works focuses on identity, communication, and the influence of new media on our lives. El Castillo’s photographs serve to document reality from unexpected points of view, and are sometimes incorporated into his paintings, to create emotionally charged images. In his permanent quest to fuse painting, photography and sculpture into unique works of art, el Castillo also focuses on the condition of the individual but also on the remnants of civilization and the post-industrial landscape.

Bryan el Castillo also contributed his artistic interpretation to the environmental feature documentary film entitled Amazon Gold, narrated by Academy Award winners Sissy Spacek and Herbie Hancock. His work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, more recently at The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Peekskill New York, and has acquired a devoted collector following.
